1979 Masters and '84 U.S. Open Champ Fuzzy Zoeller has been busy dishing up 'advice' to the recently suspended Golf Channel announcer Kelly "Lynch" Tilghman: "Just keep smiling and kill people with kindness. And remember, the sun will come up tomorrow...Time heals all wounds."
Way to go Fuzzy...
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Fuzzy and how he fits into this equation, consider these remarks he made after Tiger Woods DESTROYED the field at the '97 Masters:
"That little boy is driving well and he's putting well. He's doing everything it takes to win. So, you know what you guys do when he gets in here? You pat him on the back and say congratulations and enjoy it and tell him not to serve fried chicken next year, or collard greens or whatever the hell they serve. Got it?"
This is a dead story if you ask me, but I find it pretty funny that Fuzzy felt the need to stick his nose into it. Tiger's camp has already dismissed the remarks and have moved on. It also helps that Tiger is friends with Tilghman.
