Around the Hardwood: Knicks suck, Tony Parker double-dribbles?, Kobe's 'happy', and MJ's baby-momma-drama

Are the New York Knicks in that bad of shape? According to this article in Newsday, they could be the worst professional sports franchise in history.

Personally, I've only been a fringe observer of the mess that's taking place in Manhattan and don't care all that much about their situation. But, it's gotta be rough to be in their position. Especially after they just got dragged through a legal mess and settled an $11.5 million lawsuit brought on by female team exec Anucha Browne Sanders who claims head coach Isaiah Thomas sexually assaulting her. Other reasons why the Knicks are brutal: ownership sucks, team management is laughable, highly paid athletes continuously underachieving...oh, and they keep losing.

Sittin in 2nd place in the Pacific division, things are looking up for the Lakeshow and Kobe is glad he wasn't traded; "happy" with Lakers. (ESPN.com)

Not only is Michael Jordan not the father of some random woman’s kid, but she owes MJ $5 million. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
