The class of the Eastern Conference continues to roll along. It seems like it's getting almost automatic for the Ottawa Senators these days, especially last night, as they beat up the New York Islanders 5-2. It was pretty much men playing against boys. It's too bad the night was kinda overshadowed by the always-distracting Ray Emery. Apparently the Razor threw a little bit of a temper tantrum and left the morning skate early after learning that he wouldn't be getting the start against NYI. Correct me if I'm wrong, but launching your stick and knocking water bottles all over the place isn't the best way to regain the #1 goalie spot, especially with Martin Gerber playing so damn well.

Sens win despite Razor's antics
This is just the latest in the 'Ray Emery Show' that has engulfed the Nation's Capital for the last few years. Don't forget, there's also been a few car accidents on the way to games, lackluster practice efforts, sleeping in and missing flights, road-rage incidents, and his frequent late-night appearances at some of Ottawa's hotspots and everything that entails. His performance in last year's Cup finals is yesterday's news. If he's not playing well now and being a problem in the locker room, nobody's gonna care about what he did 6 months ago.
