Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in a federal pen today for his involvement in 'Bad Newz Kennels', including killing 6 to 8 dogs who didn't 'perform well' and for being the primary bankroller of an inter-state dogfighting operation.
During the sentencing, Vick apologized for being such a douchebag. When he is released from prison in October 2009, I truly hope he disappears. I don't think anybody with half a conscience would want to see him playing professional football again. On the other hand, he made piles of cash for the NFL when he wasn't public enemy #1, and the Falcons are a horrendous franchise without him, so who am I kidding? He'll be back in fine form well before the '09 season opener.
