Barry Bonds makes children cry

Okay, so maybe he doesn't make EVERY kid cry, but he sure ain't makin' em laugh. Well, he's making me laugh by his on-going legal saga. Today he pleaded not guilty to charges he lied to federal investigators about whether he used performance enhancing drugs. He must own a pretty damn big shovel, cuz he just keeps digging a hole for himself. And it's not like he's going to come out of this mess unscathed either.

Regardless of the outcome, there will forever be an asterisk beside his MLB record of 762 jacks. Anybody who knows baseball or has followed Bonds' career knows that you just don't jump from being a stick-man basestealing outfielder to gigantor ball crusher from lifting dumbbells. Stay tuned for more on this fiasco... I probably won't be, I'm already tired of Barry Bonds' bullshit.
