20 wins! Well it looks like the Ottawa Senators are back to their regular form. Winning 4-1 in Pittsburgh tonight to finish their 5-game road trip with a 4-0-1 record. Talk about a turnaround from losing 7 in a row. Daniel Alfredsson got his 800th career point in his 812th game proving once again that he's a stud and is hungry for that Cup. Like I've always said: win a Cup, and he's a shoe-in for the HOF.
Jason Spezza and Dany Heatley both racked up 4 points and Martin Gerber shut down Sydney Crosby multiple times.
A crazy game in T-Bay tonight. Calgary got some retribution for their loss in the 2004 Cup final, stacking 9 goals on the Bolts winning 9-6 in their first meeting in 3 years. Wait a second, Calgary scored 9 goals?! Hell has frozen over. (TSN.ca)
Scott Walker was handed a 1 game suspension for his gutless headbutt on Mike Fisher in Carolina Wednesday night. (YouTube)
And you thought Rick DiPietro's 15-year deal was outrageous. These days, it's becoming the norm as the Philadelphia Flyers signed Mike Richards to a 12-year $69 million contract. If there was any question whether the Flyers saw a future captaincy in center Mike Richards, it was addressed today in flattering terms. (Philadelphia Enquirer)

It's obvious that the Sens are back on track. Good that a streaky Gerber is positively streaking. Good blog!
